Senior Specialist (m/f/d)
Development Global Competencies & New Learning

Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying essential globally necessary core competencies
  • Supporting strategic talent management via strategic competence development
  • Developing and implementing appropriate development programs for specific competences
  • Creating suitable formats and methods for a global implementation concept
  • Up-dating and integrating the KARL STORZ Competence Model into O&LD learning initiatives
  • Managing the global implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS) (SuccessFactors/SAP)
  • LMS administrator for the O&LD department
  • Coordinating the “train the trainer” program as well as the selection and further training of trainers
  • Evaluating the O&LD Learning Programs and establishing/presenting reports
  • Supporting change management processes
  • Working closely together with our US colleagues
Qualifications, skills and experience must include:
  • Master's degree in adult education, media education, industrial & organizational psychology/sociology or a completed similar study
  • A minimum of 7 years' professional experience in determination of requirements, program design, competence development as well as change management and project management
  • Previous experience with internationally operating, medium-sized industrial companies is desired
  • Experience with the development and implementation of instructor-led training and distance learning modules
  • Previous experience with a Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an absolute necessity; SuccessFactors/SAP is desirable, as is the ability to use SCORM and AICC compliant e-learning in an LMS
  • Independent, analytical, structured and problem-solving working method
  • Creative with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude for technology with strong abilities to diagnose problems and find solutions
  • Excellent German skills and outstanding English skills
  • Willingness to travel approx. 15%
